6 accessories that Salman Khan brought in vogue
Whatever Salman Khan does, he does with elan! In fact, nobody can beat the superstar when it comes to style and trends. Besides his acting, quirky style of dancing or experimenting with looks, the style
bhai is also known to glamourize accessories and all of them have been crazily aped by his die-hard fans. And why just his fans? even his co-stars have imitated his signature style at some point of time.
Over the years, Salman made various style statements (through various accessories) in his films and created a rage. Take a look...
Pendant: The off colored and matte finished club pendant that Salman is seen flaunting in his latest flick BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN is pretty cool and goes with the character in the film (who is an ardent
devotee of Lord Hanuman). We are sure this film will bring a new fad of mace.
Bracelet: The very popular firoza stone bracelet that Bollywood star Salman Khan has been wearing for years now, was the signature in his movie JAI HO. Though the lucky bracelet that Salman
sports is his regular accessory and he has ever flaunted it, for the first time it formed as a pivotal part of the character that he played in the film. The actor is seen rolling and rotating his bracelet in one of the shots
of the film.
Keffiyeh (checkered scarf): Salman rocked the screen in EK THA TIGER in Keffiyeh ranging from the all-time checkered BandW to solid hues. He can be rightly credited for bringing the scarves in
vogue. With Salman reviving the trend, it became a craze amongst youngsters.
Aviators:The aviators (which had a reflection of hearts) that he sported in the film DABANGG, took the fashion scene by storm. Usually people don the sunglasses for protection from the sun or save
their eye but when aviators are donned by celebs like Salman Khan, they tend to bring a new revolution in style among the audience.
Bandana: Salman stylishly sported bandana with checked shirts over white vests in the film WANTED. It quite became a rage among fans!
Ear-stud: Salman sported the swanky diamond ear stud in the film YUVVRAAJ and popularized it to the core.

New releases disappoint, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS is a blockbuster!
As we had predicted in our box-office column, the two new releases of the week, Vashu Bhagnani's WELCOME TO KARACHI and the Mahaakshay-Evelyn starrer ISHQEDARRIYAAN, failed to match up to the still hot, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS.
Both the mentioned new releases opened approximately at around 10 percent and failed to show much growth during the latter shows. As far as the audience feedback is concerned, it is more positive (comparatively) for ISHQEDARRIYAAN as opposed to the Arshad-Jackie starrer, WELCOME TO KARACHI. Having said that, both the films still have the next two days of the weekend to pull up their socks.
Meanwhile, after a superb (given the reasonable involved costs), opening weekend of around 38 crore, the Madhavan, Kangana and Deepak starrer, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS, saw rock steady weekdays, which almost matched the weekend total, ending the first week netting in excess of 70 crore from India.
Given that TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS is replicating its Indian run in the overseas market, the Aanand L Rai venture is a sure shot blockbuster, how big or small time will tell.
Swara Bhaskar: Used to have a teenage crush on Shah Rukh Khan
Every actress has a list of actors and directors she desires to work with and the king of romance Shah Rukh Khan is a common name in (almost) everybody's list. Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar too has a long list and yes, SRK is a part of it too! And guess what? The pretty actress had a teenage crush on badshah Khan!
When asked her about the actor she would like to work with, she said, "I want to work with Amitabh Bachchan and I wanted to work with Salman Khan and I did. I also want to work with Shah Rukh Khan because I use to have a teenage crush on him. And also Govinda, sometime in my life because I feel like there is nobody in the world who has the kind of comic timing that he does. These are the people from the industry I would like to work with."
Further ask her about the directors on her wish list and she says, "There are a lot. So many directors are doing amazing work. I want to work with Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Mani Ratnam sir, Aditya Chopra for sure, but I feel like there are so many great directors I want to work with. I always wanted to work with Aanand L.Rai and Sooraj Barjatya and I did. I also got a chance to work with Shyam Benegal which was fantastic."
Swara was last seen in TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS which also starred R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill, Deepak Dobriyal and others. Directed by Aanand L.Rai and produced by Krishika Lulla and Aanand, the film released on 22nd May, 2015.
